Mr. Tod is a diagnostic AI assistant for RV owners and technicians. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what's necessary to run the service. We do not sell your data.

Who We Are

Mr. Tod ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Maverick RV Repair. We provide an AI-powered RV diagnostic assistant accessible at mrtod.netlify.app.

What We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to operate the service:

Account information — your name, email address, and account type (Owner or Technician) when you sign up
Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number
Conversation content — the messages you send to Mr. Tod during your sessions, used to generate responses
Usage data — basic information about how you use the app (question count, session activity)
Photos — images you choose to attach to messages, used only to generate your diagnostic response

How We Use Your Data

To provide and improve the Mr. Tod diagnostic service
To process your subscription payments via Stripe
To send you account-related emails (confirmation, billing receipts)
To enforce usage limits (free tier question count)

Your conversation content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate AI responses. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle that data. We do not use your conversations to train AI models.

Data Storage & Security

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, a managed database platform with industry-standard encryption. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Third-Party Services

Mr. Tod uses the following third-party services:

Anthropic — AI model provider. Conversation content is processed by their API
Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy
Supabase — authentication and user data storage
Netlify — hosting and serverless functions

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Cancel your subscription at any time

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — specifically the authentication session cookie from Supabase that keeps you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children's Privacy

Mr. Tod is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
